Man City ace Oscar Bobb astonishes fans after Brentford display – ‘He’s the next big thing’
Man City ace Oscar Bobb has blown away fans after his “godly” display against Brentford on Tuesday evening (20 February).
Pep Guardiola’s side dispatched Thomas Frank’s Bees with a 1-0 win, with Erling Haaland’s 71st-minute strike taking City to second in the Premier League ahead of Arsenal.
However, Bobb’s “special” outing at the Etihad caught the eyes of neutrals and Citizens alike.
The 20-year-old earned his first Premier League start following a series of impressive cameo appearances and starts in the Champions League and domestic cup competitions.
Against Brentford, the versatile attacker managed two successful key passes, 85 per cent pass accuracy, three successful dribbles and was inches away from bagging the opener in the 38th minute.
Man City full debutant Oscar Bobb dazzled fans against Brentford
Bobb found himself in acres of space in the box and leathered his effort towards goal after he took an exceptional touch passed Christian Norgaard – only for his effort to be cleared off the line by Ben Mee.
He was replaced by Jeremy Doku after 61 minutes, but fans were hugely impressed with what they saw of the Man City academy product.
They have taken to social media to react, and many are adamant that Bobb has a big future ahead of him.
