Man City could sign one of four Wolves stars set to leave – sources
Manchester City could make a move to sign Pedro Neto after Pep Guardiola earmarked the Wolves star as someone who could improve his squad this summer.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed Neto would likely push for a move to the Etihad if the opportunity presents itself.
Football Insider revealed on 17 May the Portuguese international is one of four players Wolves could be forced to cash in on due to their financial situation.
O’Rourke admitted it would be a “major” blow for the West Midlands club if the 24-year-old were to join the Premier League champions following his impressive performances over the past season.
Football Insider previously revealed Wolves are looking for bids of between £50million and 60million to consider selling the winger, whose contract is set to run at Molineux until 2027.
Pedro Neto could make move to Man City
Neto has enjoyed a strong campaign at Wolves after scoring three goals and laying on 11 assists in 24 appearances.
The winger is believed to be looking to play Champions League football next season as he aims to take his career to the next level.
O’Rourke revealed Wolves are likely to have to sell one of their star players this summer to avoid committing any profit and sustainability (PSR) breaches.

Man City could make a move to sign Neto as Guardiola is believed to be a fan of the Portuguese and is keen to strengthen his squad this summer.
The attacker could be lined up as a potential replacement for Jack Grealish after Football Insider revealed last month the Citizens are willing to listen to offers for the England international once the transfer window reopens.
In other news, 29-year-old is “very unhappy” at Man City.
