Man City fans all say the same thing about Jack Grealish’s farewell message
Man City fans have taken to social media to respond to Jack Grealish’s farewell message to beloved kit man Brandon Ashton.
Ashton, who has a close relationship with the players, in particular Grealish, 29, and Kevin de Bruyne, 33, as shown in Amazon’s Man City: All or Nothing documentary, announced he would be leaving the club after 15 years.
City stars past and present took to Instagram to show the highly popular kit man some love, bidding him farewell and wishing him the best for future endeavors.
Ashton’s announcement came on the same day as the independent commission’s hearing into Man City’s alleged 115 charges brought against them by the Premier League began.
The Premier League claims the current champions breached the financial rules and regulations between 2009 – 2018, including secret payments made to ex-manager Roberto Mancini and the agent of Yaya Toure.
During that period, the club, who strongly deny these charges, won the Premier League title three times.
The independent commission has the power to dish out a number of punishments, including points deductions and even expulsion from the league.
The hearing is expected to last ten weeks, with a verdict likely to happen in early 2025.
Jack Grealish sends love to Man City long timer as he bids farewell
Pep Guardiola’s side have managed to set the charges to one side, winning all four of their opening Premier League games so far.
Grealish started in their 2-1 win over Brentford on Saturday, marking the first time he has started two games in a row for his club since April.
