Man City fans reel from Erling Haaland ‘bad news’ as clip drops online

Man City fans have been handed an injury scare ahead of their Champions League clash with Sporting CP after footage has emerged of Erling Haaland being hurt in training.

The 24-year-old could be seen rolling around and holding his shin after moving gingerly, which created a concerning situation for City supporters.

Haaland had received treatment on his leg during City’s 2-1 loss against Bournemouth on Saturday (2 November) but was able to continue in that game.

The Norway international did continue with training, which is a positive situation ahead of their game against Sporting on Tuesday (5 November)

Haaland has scored 14 goals in 14 games across all competitions for Pep Guardiola’s team this season, continuing his prolific form for the Premier League side.

City are already dealing with several major injuries with Ruben Dias, John Stones, Rodri, Jack Grealish, and Oscar Bobb all on the sidelines.

Man City fans worried by Erling Haaland’s injury footage

Guardiola reassured fans that Haaland is fine during his press conference, but also hinted that a break might be needed for his striker.

The Spaniard said, “Maybe [during the] international games he can rest.”

However, City supporters were still worried by the footage as it aired as they claimed it’s “not looking good.”
