Man City fans praised Grealish’s performance that night but despite his strong showing in that role, Guardiola has rarely given him the opportunity to play centrally.
Now, after his impressive display against Leicester, City fans are once again calling for Grealish to feature in midfield for the remainder of the season.
One supporter said: “Honestly, a central Grealish might be a brilliant short-term KDB successor…” while another added: “Grealish in the midfield yesterday was again so good. We cannot let him go this summer”.
