Man City fans thrilled by Fabrizio Romano’s ‘amazing’ transfer update
Man City supporters are buzzing over the possibility that the club will sign Palmeiras defender Vitor Reis in the January transfer window after a new report.
Fabrizio Romano revealed that a verbal agreement has been reached with the Brazilian club for £33.5million, with the Premier League giants wanting an immediate transfer.
The 19-year-old is set for a medical and a contract signing soon as the clubs only have to check the documents at this stage.
Reis will enhance Pep Guardiola’s defensive options, which have been a problem at times this season due to injuries to John Stones and Ruben Dias.
The teenager made 33 appearances last season for Palmeiras across all competitions as he established himself in the first team and scored twice.
However, City are now looking to lure him to England as Guardiola attempts to rebuild his squad for the second half of the campaign.
