Man City fans trash ’embarrassing’ Pep Guardiola as bust-up footage emerges
Man City fans have blasted Pep Guardiola for his “embarrassing” behavior following their recent Premier League outing against Brentford.
The defending Premier League champions threw away a two-goal lead in the final 10 minutes of the game to draw 2-2 at the Gtech Community Stadium after goals from Yoane Wissa and Christian Norgaard.
Phil Foden had given his team the lead with a second half brace, but City were unable to see that through to put more pressure on those above them in the table.
City remain sixth in the Premier League, and Guardiola was just as frustrated as the fans after the full-time whistle.
Footage emerged of Guardiola screaming at City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega in what was an animated and heated discussion between them.
Post-match conversations with players are something that the Spanish coach has become notorious for, but fans weren’t pleased with the manner in which Guardiola did this.
