Man City have set sights on ‘perfect’ Bernardo Silva replacement after source’s update – pundit
Paul Robinson has claimed Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham is “the perfect replacement” for Man City midfielder Bernardo Silva.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said Pep Guardiola’s side “would be unstoppable” with Bellingham, 19, in their ranks.
Bellingham is being chased by Europe’s top clubs heading into 2023.

Sources have told Football Insider (3 December) that City would be willing to sell Jack Grealish to fund a move for Bellingham in next summer’s transfer window.
Bernardo Silva has also been linked with an exit in recent times, with Barcelona known admirers of the left-footer.
Robinson suggested Bernardo would most likely be the one to make way for Bellingham.
“I think his preference will be to play in the Premier League and at the top of the Premier League.” he told Football Insider.
“That is why I think Man City are the team to beat.
“Pep Guardiola will know that they would be unstoppable with Bellingham in their side. They have played against Bellingham a few times in recent years. They will know just how good he is.

“The project at Man City sells itself. In all honesty, I can see him going to Man City next year.
“Everybody knows that Bernardo Silva wants to move on. Bellingham is the perfect replacement for Bernardo Silva. It really wouldn’t surprise me if that move happens.”
