Man City learn possible Rodri recovery timeframe after latest injury blow vs Brentford
Rodri may be set for another spell on the sidelines after Man City learned how long the Spaniard may be out for.
During the first half of Man City’s win at Brentford, Rodri was forced off with another problem after spending the majority of last season out with an ACL injury.
The 29-year-old has been integrated back into the side, but had to be replaced by Nico Gonzalez after just 22 minutes.
Man City already have Omar Marmoush injured, alongside defenders Rayan Ait-Nouri and Abdukodir Khusanov.

Rodri could face weeks on the sidelines
As per the Physio Scout on X [5 October], Rodri could face up to six weeks out if his hamstring injury is serious.
However, it is predicted that Rodri has a “low-grade strain“, meaning he could be out for two to four weeks.
Rodri will miss the international break with Spain and World Cup qualifying fixtures against Georgia and Bulgaria.
He could face a race to be back fit for Man City‘s home match with Everton after the international window.
Man City may have to replace Rodri in the transfer window amid his current injury problems.

Rodri injury down to one factor
Speaking to BBC Sport, 5 October, former Premier League goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer says that is currently impossible to predict how long Rodri will be out for.
“Man City have brought Rodri back in gently, but sometimes it’s just the way it is. Hopefully, it is not too serious,” Schwarzer said.
“Believe it or not, I tore my hamstring and I was only out for 12 days. It all depends how bad the tear is.“
Rodri’s importance at the base of the Man City midfield means Pep Guardiola will hope he the tear is only minor and that the Spaniard can return quickly.
