Man City news: Campbell issues ‘massive’ Ruben Dias verdict after ‘nightmare’ picture emerges
Kevin Campbell has heaped praise on Man City defender Ruben Dias after he was pictured consoling Zack Steffen at Wembley.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker said Dias, 24, is “clearly a massive player both on and off the field” for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Steffen was heavily criticised for his performance on Saturday as Man City crashed out of the FA Cup.

The USA international cut a disconsolate figure after the 3-2 loss to Liverpool.
Dias, who was an unused substitute at Wembley, was one of the first to offer his support to the goalkeeper.
When asked for his reaction to the scenes at full time, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “That is the type of thing a captain has to do.
“A captain has to look at the whole picture, not just himself. Man City might need Steffen at some stage, you just never know.
“It’s a case of get on your feet and puff your chest out because we have all had nightmares. We have all been through difficult times.

“You have to keep doing the right things consistently. That’s the key. That is what Dias will have told him. They still have a lot of football left to play even though it was painful now.
“Fingers crossed Dias has helped the young man. For Dias to show those leadership qualities at a young age himself bodes well for City. He’s clearly a massive player for them on and off the field.”
