Man City plotting to sign Everton player with same agent as Pickford – sources

Man City hold a concrete interest in Everton rising star Douglass Lukjanciks, sources tell Football Insider.

The Premier League champions have been linked with a £10million move for the 16-year-old goalkeeper, but sources say no official bid has been made yet.

The shot-stopper has represented England at Under-17 level and made four appearances for the Under-18s side this season.

Intriguingly, it is believed that Lukjanciks, 16, has the same agent as Jordan Pickford, who Football Insider revealed is a target for Chelsea this summer.

Man City want to sign Everton Under-18s goalkeeper

Everton’s financial struggles have been well-documented this season, with Football Insider reporting that the club could land a third points deduction amid “real worry” at the club.

Lukjanciks is not able to sign a professional contract with Everton until he turns 17, which is in October of this year.

It is believed that Everton consider Lukjanciks has the potential to be a future number one and a successor to Pickford’s role.
