Man City cashing in on Erling Haaland after ‘big’ financial reveal – Robinson
Paul Robinson has claimed Erling Haaland has “clearly had a big impact” on Man City commercially.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said the 22-year-old is “clearly one of the most marketable assets” in world football.
Haaland has taken the Premier League by storm since joining from Borussia Dortmund on 13 June.

According to i news‘ Mark Douglas (14 October), Man City’s shirt sales have rocketed since the arrival of the Norwegian striker.
In the US market, retail revenues from July to September are said to have recorded an astonishing 250 per cent rise.
In Scandinavia, it is reported that 51 per cent of shirt sales have the name Haaland printed on the back.
When asked by Football Insider if Haaland is a key player for City both on the pitch and off it, Robinson said: “Definitely.
“It has clearly had a big impact on City commercially.
“They have signed some amazing players over the years but I do not think we have ever seen a player have an impact like this on the league.

“His numbers are there for everybody to see. We wax lyrical about him week in, week out. We are running out of superlatives.
“When you look at the commercial figures, it is clear that he is also one of the most marketable assets. That happens when you are one of the top players in the world.”
