Kieran Maguire salutes ‘really smart’ Man City as takeover deal all but done
Man City are set to pool their data resources with NAC Breda as part of their collaboration through City Football Group.
That is the view of finance guru Kieran Maguire, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about City Football Group’s multi-club empire.
The conglomerate own 10 clubs worldwide, including four in Europe, and are looking to add Eredivisie side Breda to their growing portfolio.

The Sun reported on Wednesday (23 March) that CFG have agreed a price for the club and the deal is now a formality.
It is understood that they edged out construction magnate Karel Vrolijk after a shareholders’ investigation into the most suitable buyer.
Maguire explains why Breda would choose CFG over a traditional investment model.
“You can take all of the good aspects from the mothership,” he told Football Insider‘s Adam Williams.
“We’re talking analytics and things like that. City Football Group people have really smart people working for them.
“All of that data can be supplied to the club within the group. For a club that couldn’t otherwise afford such information, they can now piggyback on it.
“Even with things like player injury prediction, there are vast databases being compiled. Very few clubs have the capacity to really understand the data.“

City have sent the likes of Angelino and Manu Garcia to Breda on loan in recent years.
The multi-club network’s European arm also owns Belgian side Lommel SK, French outfit Troyes and Spanish club Girona.
