Man City star Jack Grealish sends two-word message to Noni Madueke

Man City winger Jack Grealish congratulated Noni Madueke on his latest England appearance in their 3-1 over Finland on Sunday (October 13).

The 29-year-old scored his second England goal in four games since coming back into the fold under interim manager Lee Carsley.

Grealish bagged the opener with a cool finish in the 18th minute following an inch-perfect pass from Angel Gomes.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Declan Rice rounded off the scoring as England secured a much-needed victory following their shock 2-1 defeat to Greece in the previous game.

Madueke, 22, came on in the 69th minute to replace Chelsea teammate Cole Palmer and make just his third senior appearance for England.

The Chelsea winger featured heavily for Lee Carsley in England’s Under-21s, helping him secure a memorable UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2023.

Madueke may be yet to score for the senior team, but he managed to set up captain Harry Kane on his debut in their 2-0 win in the reverse fixture against Finland earlier in the season.

Grealish, now a more experienced player in the England set-up, took to Instagram to congratulate the right-winger on his latest cap.

Both players will turn their attention back to the Premier League as both clubs seek to continue their fine starts to the season.

Chelsea will travel to Anfield to face league leaders Liverpool whereas Grealish and Man City will host bottom-placed Wolves.
