Man City star slammed by fans as ‘one of the most useless players’ ever seen after ‘dreadful’ Bournemouth display
Pep Guardiola may be concerned about the form of one star as fans were left unimpressed with his performance against Bournemouth.
Man City beat Bournemouth 3-1 at the Etihad to move up to second in the Premier League table and within six points of leaders Arsenal.
Erling Haaland’s goal scoring form continued as the striker scored two first half goals to set up victory for the Citizens.
Whilst Guardiola witnessed many standout performances against the Cherries, one player failed to leave a mark on the game.

Savinho cameo slammed by Man City support
Savino nearly left Man City for Spurs in the summer, and the Brazilian came on for only the last 17 minutes against Bournemouth.
The wingers cameo appearance though only justified belief amongst Man City supporters that Savinho is not good enough.
“Once again proved right Savinho needs to go,” a fan claimed.
A fan commented: “There needs to be some sort of investigation into how Savinho gets into any matchday squad at City. You could put him in League Two and he still wouldn’t be one of the best players, he’s absolutely dreadful.”
Whilst another said: “I’m beginning to dislike watching Savinho play for my club. I was in full support of that new contract but the more I watch him the more I just hate the idea. Looks like he literally can’t do a single thing right as a winger.”
“What’s worse turning down £70m for Savinho or giving him a new contract,” a fan asked.
A fan said: “Every time Savinho comes on I’m stunned that he ever made it through academy football. He reaches a new level of absolute garbage every appearance.“
“Savinho is one of the most useless players I’ve ever watched play football. Sell Savinho in Jan for £20m and cut our losses he is awful,” a supporter said.
Savinho opportunities could be limited
With Haaland scoring the majority of Man City’s goals it has been said that Guardiola needs to find more goal scorers in his team.
The return of Rayan Cherki, who assisted twice against Bournemouth, may add an extra attacking threat to Guardiola’s ranks.
Savinho faces further competition to get into the team, with Jeremy Doku also impressing on the opposite flank.
