Man City tipped to accept Bernardo Silva offer after source’s £46m reveal – Agbonlahor
Bernardo Silva may reject a new Man City contract because he wants to sign for Barcelona, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker suggested Pep Guardiola may allow Silva to join Barcelona next summer.
Sources told Football Insider on Saturday (29 October) that Man City are set to offer the 28-year-old a “huge” new contract.

His current deal is worth around £150,000-a-week and is set to expire in the summer of 2025.
City are set to offer him a major pay rise and an extended deal and the whole package could be worth around £46million in total.
Silva has long been linked with a move to Barcelona and there have been fresh reports that they will make a fresh approach in January.
“As players, you only get one career, you only get one life,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Bernardo Silva might have it in his head ‘I want to play for Barcelona, I want to play for such an iconic club’. A manager like Pep will not want to stand in his way.
“It might be a case that Bernardo leaves in the summer and they grant him his wish to go to Barcelona. They can recoup some money and use that towards a signing.
“Maybe he doesn’t want to sign a new contract, he’s won the Premier League with Man City so he might want to try a different league.”

Silva has scored 50 goals and provided 56 assists in 269 appearances across all competitions for Man City.
The Portugal international has won four Premier League titles, four League Cups and the FA Cup with the club.
In other news, Man City are demanding to “see the money” as a £300million deal on the cards.
