‘Man City to accept £25m Ederson offer’ – Stefan Borson
Manchester City star Ederson could be coming towards the end of his time at the club as they plot a move to sign a new goalkeeper.
The Brazil international has spent eight successful years at the Etihad since signing from Benfica for £35million in 2017.
The 31-year-old, who is out of contract in June 2026, has kept 10 clean sheets in 34 appearances this season.
Football Insider revealed on 20 April Ederson is likely to leave Man City this summer as there is a “massive” clamour for his signature in Saudi Arabia.
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider the club will accept a £25million offer for the goalkeeper.
Pep Guardiola’s side are interested in signing Diogo Costa after he’s impressed for Porto in recent years.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper has kept 18 clean sheets in 41 appearances this season.

Man City set for ‘big’ change after exit
Borson insisted Ederson’s anticipated exit will be a “big change” for Man City.
He told Football Insider: “I think he’s been close to going in a couple of windows, so it seems to me that this is part of a process that he’s coming to a head and I don’t think it’s going to be a money thing for City.
“I don’t think City would make him another offer. I suspect he’ll go, and City will move on to a new goalkeeper.
“If he’s going to Saudi, then presumably City will happily take £25million if that’s the fee. It feels like that’s the sort of running number.
“I suspect he will go for a final payday and City will take a fee and move on. I think it’s a big change for the club.
“Obviously, he’s been a key player during the vast majority of the Pep era. He’s won so many trophies, so it will be a big change.
“But I think it looks like it is going to happen.”
