Man City well placed to sign sensation with same agent as Kyle Walker
Man City are expected to rebuild their squad during the summer transfer window in a bid to get back on track after a season to forget for all involved.
Pep Guardiola’s men have fallen way short of expectations during the 2024-25 campaign in a season that could end trophyless and without Champions League football.
The FA Cup remains City’s only opportunity to claim silverware this season, while the team currently sits fifth in the Premier League.
However, they will be overtaken by Newcastle if they win their game in hand and that will put them under a significant amount of pressure in the final nine fixtures to try and secure Champions League qualification for next season.
The defending Premier League champions are expected to splash the cash in the summer transfer market to revitalise the squad, with Guardiola wanting to lower the average age of the team.
Football Insider revealed that FC Copenhagen teenager Roony Bardghji is someone that City want to sign, with the winger having previously been dubbed the “Swedish Messi.”

Man City could tap into the Kyle Walker connection
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson revealed he thinks the 19-year-old has got a “really bright future,” and thinks a connection to Kyle Walker could help make the transfer a reality.
“[He’s] Got an English agent as well, [the] same agency as Kyle Walker,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“He looks a real talented player, he’s got a really bright future.

“[I] Don’t think it’ll be long before we see him in the Premier League in some capacity.”
Robinson has backed City to accelerate their squad rebuilding process to get the team back at a higher standard as soon as possible.

Man City want to freshen up the squad
City spent £180million during the summer transfer window in an attempt to give Guardiola more options, and that spending spree is going to be extended into the summer.
Guardiola wants to immediately close the gap on Liverpool, and they have identified Adam Wharton as a potential option to help make that a reality.
Football Insider reported that City will race Tottenham to try and sign the Crystal Palace midfielder as they attempt to bolster their midfield.
