Man City will benefit from ‘amazing’ Jack Grealish development as pundit left in awe
Jack Grealish is finally showing the maturity that can make him a success at Man City.
That’s according to former Leeds United striker Noel Whelan, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the attacker’s latest comments.
Speaking to the Telegraph on Thursday (1 December), Grealish revealed his regret over comments he made about Newcastle United star Miguel Almiron last season.

He explained he has reached out to Almiron through former teammate Matt Targett and apologised before claiming he is “buzzing” to see how Almiron has reacted to his comments.
Whelan is delighted to see Grealish finally showing some maturity.
“Jack Grealish is the pantomime villain, people love to hate him,” Whelan told Football Insider’s Ben Wild.
“It was a comment that shouldn’t have been made but at least he is man enough and kind enough to right his wrong, to speak to the player and apologise.
“It takes a big person to do that and it shows how mature he is now. It’s an amazing thing to hear. Grealish has made some mistakes along the way.
“He gets big headlines and negative publicity, again with the comments, that was negative publicity. But he has now learned how to get things right, the maturity is coming through.
“Not just in his football, by the way, as a human being and I think that can only benefit Man City and England.”

Almiron has found the best form of his career since Grealish made his comments.
He has scored eight goals in 15 Premier League appearances this season.
In other news, one pundit expects Pep Guardiola to quit Man City within months after deal agreed.
