Man United ace Alejandro Garnacho sends message to Van Nistelrooy after sack
Man United star Alejandro Garnacho has taken to social media to say farewell to Ruud van Nistelrooy after he was sacked from the club’s coaching staff by Ruben Amorim.
Van Nistelrooy, 48, who joined the club under Erik ten Hag this summer, will not be part of incoming manager Ruben Amorim’s coaching staff and has now departed.
The Dutchman signed off in style, leading Man United to an impressive 3-0 win over Leicester on Sunday (November 10) to stay unbeaten in his four games at the helm, winning three and drawing one.
Assistant manager Rene Hake, goalkeeping coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar, and analyst Pieter Morel have also departed the club.
Amorim will take charge of his first game as Man United manager against the newly-promoted Ipswich on November 24th, after the international break.
Alejandro Garncho hails Man United ‘legend’ Ruud van Nistelrooy
Garnacho, 20, had three goals involvements over the four games Van Nistelrooy had in the dugout, all coming across their two games against Leicester.
The winger refused to celebrate his goal in the 3-0 win over the weekend after an altercation with a fan ahead of their Europa League victory over PAOK.
Still, despite his frustrations at the club, Garnacho took to Instagram to praise the interim manager and thank him for his contribution.

New boss Amorim has a history of working with young players, leading former club Sporting to two league titles with numerous homegrown talents.
The new era means a clean slate for everyone at the club as they seek to finally get their season going after a dismal start under Ten Hag.
