Man United ace Amad Diallo breaks silence after sacking
Man United youngster Amad Diallo has taken to social media to pay tribute to Ruud van Nistelrooy after his recent dismissal.
Despite steadying the ship and leading Man United to three wins and one draw in his four games at the helm, new manager Ruben Amorim, 39, decided against Keeping Van Nistelrooy, 48, at the club.
Diallo, 22, benefitted hugely from Van Nistelrooy’s time as interim manager, featuring in all four games, scoring two goals, and providing one assist in the process.
The Ivorian winger had been largely outcast by Erik ten Hag before his dismissal, failing to play a single Premier League minute in October.
Diallo will have ample opportunity to impress his new boss after missing out on the Ivory Coast squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Zambia and Chad.
Amorim will take charge of his first game once the international break is over, an away trip to newly promoted Ipswich Town.
Amad Diallo found his feet at Man United under Ruud van Nistelrooy
With his fellow right-wingers failing to impress so far this season and a new manager who has a reputation for trusting youngsters, this could be a real breakout campaign for Diallo.
Although his time in charge was short, the former striker clearly had an impact on Diallo, who took to Instagram to say thanks.

Diallo has two weeks to get in Amorim’s good books and prove that he can be a vital player for Man United going into the rest of the season.
A new era has begun at Old Trafford and the Portuguese will need to have a serious impact if they hope to salvage anything from their dismal start.
