Man United ace Harry Maguire sends ‘love it’ message as transfer confirmed

Man United defender Harry Maguire has taken to social media to reveal his delighted reaction to a new transfer update.

Ruben Amorim is desperately in need of reinforcements at Old Trafford this summer, following a dismal season where the club failed to win any silverware and finished 15th in the Premier League.

As a result, the Red Devils have already been busy in the transfer window, with Matheus Cunha completing his move from Wolves earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Man United are also closing in on the signing of Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo as they continue their recruit drive.

Amid all that, Maguire has also been keeping a close eye on some of the deals going on elsewhere in England this summer.

Harry Maguire reacts to Jake Beesley transfer

Earlier this week, Football Insider reported that Burton Albion were set to sign striker Jake Beesley from fellow League One side Blackpool.

On Wednesday (25 June), that move was officially confirmed, with the 28-year-old joining the Brewers on an initial two-year deal until the summer of 2027.

Maguire was then keen to show his support for his friend and fellow Sheffield-born player with a message via social media.

Taking to his Instagram story, the Man United centre-back shared a post announcing that move, along with an emotional caption that read: “Love it Beeso”.

Football Insider Verdict

It has been a promising start to the window for the Red Devils with Cunha signed and Mbeumo seemingly close to a move.

However, those signings will largely boost Man United in attack, and there are undoubtedly other areas where they need to strengthen as well.

Given the club’s challenging financial position, sales will inevitably be needed if they are to raise funds to make those signings they need.

If they do not do that, this could be another challenging season at Old Trafford, which would surely raise questions over the future of Amorim.

As a result, considering he is now into the final year of his contract with the club, it will be interesting to see what impact that could have on the future of Maguire himself at Man United.
