Man United ace Marcus Rashford aims three-word dig at Erik ten Hag

Man United forward Marcus Rashford has seemingly aimed a sly dig at former manager Erik ten Hag with his latest social media post.

The 27-year-old missed out on a place in Lee Carsley’s last squad as interim England manager for their comprehensive UEFA Nations League wins over Greece and the Republic of Ireland.

He recently earned the ire of Man United fans across the globe after he was spotted at a basketball game at Maddison Square Garden during the international break, with many suggesting he should have remained at the club to concentrate on his game.

Rashford has since returned to Carrington and took part in Ruben Amorim’s first training sessions as Man United manager on Monday (November 18).

Marcus Rashford seeking Man United redemption under Ruben Amorim

It’s been a tough start to the season for Rashford, scoring just four goals and providing three assists in his 18 games across all competitions so far this season.

The England international reportedly had a frosty relationship with Erik ten Hag before he was finally dismissed; notably being substituted at half-time in their 3-3 Europa League draw with Porto despite scoring and providing an assist.

Still, if his latest Instagram is anything to go by, the left-winger is already loving life under Amorim, and perhaps far more than he did under ex-manager Ten Hag.

As one of the club’s more senior players, Amorim will need to lean on Rashford if he’s to avoid a similar fate to Ten Hag.

The highly-regarded Portuguese is due to take charge of his first game as Man United manager on Sunday (November 24) with a trip to newly promoted Ipswich Town.
