Rasmus Hojlund brutally mocks Kyle Walker in new message after bust-up

Man United striker Rasmus Hojlund has written a short poem mocking Kyle Walker after their altercation in the Manchester derby on Sunday (December 15).

Ruben Amorim’s side struck twice in the final two minutes to pull off a dramatic smash-and-grab victory over their bitter rivals, earning a crucial three points.

Man City defender Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring with a looping header after a deflected cross from Kevin de Bruyne in the 36th minute.

Hojlund, 21, and Walker, 34, squared up with each other in the second half after the veteran defender seemingly kicked out at the Denmark international, instigating a mass scuffle between the two sets of players.

The home side looked set to secure the win but Amad Diallo had other ideas, first winning the penalty, which Bruno Fernandes expertly dispatched, and then scoring the winner two minutes later.

The youngster has arguably been the best of United’s forwards this season, starting 11 of his 18 appearances across all competitions, scoring seven goals, and providing one assist in 1032 minutes of action.

Five of Hojlund’s goals have come since Amorim took over, the most from any Man United player under the highly-regarded Portuguese coach.

On the other hand, Walker has struggled, starting 11 of his 15 games across all competitions, failing to make a single-goal contribution in 1065 minutes of action.

Hojlund took to Instagram after the game, writing a short poem, alluding to his clash with Walker, saying: “Manchester is red, violets are blue, what a brilliant performance, but the Oscar goes to…”

Guardiola’s side have fallen out of the Champions League spots having won just one of their last seven Premier League games in the worst run of form since the Spaniard took over in 2016.

United remain in 13th despite the win over Man City with 22 points from their 16 Premier League games with a League Cup quarter-final with Tottenham up next.
