Man United are sacking Erik ten Hag after ‘disaster’ – sources
Erik ten Hag is set to be sacked by Manchester United at the end of the season after a “disaster” campaign, with INEOS unhappy.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that Ten Hag would be allowed to see out the season, but he is a “dead man walking” as things stand.
This means the current manager will remain in charge of Man United for the FA Cup final clash against rivals Manchester City.
O’Rourke explained that, following the arrival of new part-owners INEOS and mass changes at the club, they will not be happy with the way the season has gone under Ten Hag.
This update comes shortly after Football Insider revealed that the manager is likely to lose his job even if he manages a victory in the FA Cup final.
Man United news emerges as Erik ten Hag to be sacked
With three games left to play, United are eighth in the league and looking unlikely to secure any form of European football.
Ten Hag has overseen 13 defeats from 35 league games this season, recording a goal difference of -3, with just one win in their last seven games.
Meanwhile, fans have suggested that Ten Hag has lost the dressing room at Old Trafford, as reported by Football Insider after the 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.
That humiliating loss may prove to be the straw that broke the camel’s back for the boss as it appears his fate has already been decided.

Speculation has already mounted over who will take over following the manager’s dismissal, with Football Insider sources revealing that Thomas Tuchel is the top contender to replace him.
In other news, the cost of sacking Ten Hag has been revealed.
