Man United brutally mocked by Aston Villa after super fan’s message online

Man United’s day went from bad to worse after being trolled by the Aston Villa admin on social media.

Ruben Amorim’s side lost 2-1 at Villa Park on Sunday, 21 December, with Matheus Cunha‘s equaliser on the stroke of half-time absolutely nothing compared to Morgan Rogers‘ sensational brace.

Rogers has been linked with a Villa exit ahead of the January transfer window, but Unai Emery‘s side now appear to be well-involved in the Premier League title race halfway through the campaign.

The victory means that the Villans have now won 10 consecutive games across all competitions, beating the likes of Bournemouth, Arsenal, and Brighton to move up to third in the league table.

Aston Villa admin boasts after reaching 10 wins in a row

Amorim is only a small problem in Man United’s circus this season, with the Red Devils getting plenty of attention from around the world due to the size of the club and fanbase.

There has been a lot of focus surrounding supporter Frank Ilett, who has not been able to shave his hair in over a year after making a deal that he would wait until United win five games in a row.

Unsurprisingly, the super fan is still waiting for his team to reach that achievement, handing Villa’s admin the perfect opportunity to troll him and their opponents after the result at Villa Park.

Having posted about Villa’s 10 wins in a row, that was followed up with, “That United fan could’ve had two haircuts,” and the home supporters have greatly appreciated the banter on show.

Are Villa really in the Premier League title race?

There has been a lot of debate over whether the Villans can actually keep up the chase, but given that they are just three points off the league leaders, their involvement cannot be denied.

Wayne Rooney does not believe that they can keep it up until the final stages of the campaign. Those at Villa Park would love to disagree, though many do not want to get too far ahead of themselves.

Before facing the Gunners, Gary Neville told Villa to “shock the world,” and that is exactly what they did, claiming a 2-1 win earlier this month, with goals from Matty Cash and Emi Buendia.

Upcoming games against Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham will throw the cat amongst the pigeons, but with players dreaming of a Leicester City repeat, anything is possible in the Premier League.
