Man United could sign ‘unbelievable’ Frenkie de Jong partner after journalist’s update – pundit
Kevin Campbell has urged Man United to revamp their midfield with the signings of Frenkie de Jong and N’Golo Kante this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker suggested Kante, 31, would be an “unbelievable” addition to Erik ten Hag’s squad.
Man United’s incoming manager wants to bolster his midfield options ahead of next season.

According to Fabrizio Romano (17 May), the club are actively pursuing a deal for Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong this summer.
The Mirror‘s Steve Bates reported (15 May) that Ten Hag also wants Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante to join him at Old Trafford.
The France international has just over 12 months remaining on his contract with Chelsea.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if Kante would be a welcome addition, Campbell said: “You need experience as well.
“This is the problem. [Scott] McTominay and Fred are decent players but they are not experienced at the top, top level.
“When you talk about De Jong and Kante you are talking about a Netherlands international at Barcelona and a World Cup winner. Kante has won Premier League titles with two clubs. He is a top player.

“Yes, he has suffered injuries of late but the geezer’s a running machine when fit. He’s unbelievable.
“Those two signings would transform Man United straight away. I like the names they’re talking about. The key is, can they get them?”
