Man United hit by worrying injury news after Bryan Mbeumo footage emerges

Bryan Mbeumo appeared to be limping in new footage that emerged after Man United’s win over Tottenham on Saturday.

The forward scored the opener as Man United beat Tottenham 2-0 at Old Trafford, marking a fourth consecutive win under Michael Carrick.

The former midfielder’s impact on the Red Devils has been sensational, with his side beating Man City, Arsenal and now the Lilywhites in the weeks since his return.

Mbuemo was among the standouts for Man United against Tottenham, much as he has been throughout the season.

Man United fans have been stunned by Mbeumo, who scored his ninth Premier League goal in just 20 games this season on Saturday.

Bryan Mbeumo limps in new footage

Mbeumo could have had the opener inside a minute on Saturday, when he fired over after being found inside the box.

But the forward looked well in the mood, and after Cristian Romero‘s ugly challenge had seen his side reduced to 10 men, the forward relished the additional space.

He took full advantage when he casually strolled onto Bruno Fernandes‘ flick to stroke into the bottom corner and hand Man United the lead before half-time.

Mbeumo could have had a second in the closing minutes, too, but it will go down as another superb display from the 26-year-old.

The Cameroon international has now scored in three of the four games since his return from AFCON, and it is for that reason that Man United will be so concerned with the footage that emerged after the game.

In a video published by Kev on X, Mbeumo can be seen walking with a limp as he left Old Trafford on Saturday.

Mbeumo could be in doubt for key West Ham clash

If you had told Man United fans a month ago that their team would be just three points behind Aston Villa and Man City at the start of February, many would have called you mad.

The Red Devils’ transformation has been utterly incredible, but they will need to keep it up.

Chelsea are still breathing down their necks, and Villa and Man City could easily snap back into form. With a spot in the top four up for grabs, Carrick will be well aware of the importance of not getting carried away.

Despite their position in the league, West Ham are in strong form and will be a tough opponent on Tuesday. Given Mbeumo’s limp, that could be a challenge that Man United face without their star forward.
