Man United exploring two proposals as Sam Mather transfer edges closer
Manchester United are still keen to finalise rising star Sam Mather’s exit after England’s summer transfer window closed.
Although the transfer window shut in England on Monday, 1 September, Man United have continued to oversee departures, as goalkeeper Andre Onana agreed to join Trabzonspor on loan.
In addition to signing stars like Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, Ruben Amorim offloaded unwanted players such as Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, and Marcus Rashford in the summer.
Meanwhile, Manchester United signed goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp, and the 23-year-old is set to make his Premier League debut against rivals Manchester City.

Manchester United ready Sam Mather departure
Amorim must enjoy greater success this term than the poor campaign he endured last season, and Man United beat Burnley 3-2 in their last Premier League game.
Meanwhile, according to the Manchester Evening News on Tuesday, 9 September, winger Mather attracted transfer interest from Turkiye, Germany, and Sweden this summer.
The report adds that the Red Devils hoped to agree a permanent exit, but a loan with an obligation to buy is also a possibility.
Interest could come from Greece and Serbia, where the transfer window remains open.

Sam Mather exit call is the right decision for all parties
While Manchester United can still offload Tyrell Malacia, facilitating Mather’s exit is also the right decision for all parties.

The 21-year-old winger has never featured for the Old Trafford club’s first team, with his only appearances in senior football arriving during previous loan spells with Rochdale and Tranmere Rovers.
Therefore, it is evident that Man United do not view Mather as an asset, while the former England Under-19 international should leave the Red Devils to enjoy more game time.
Furthermore, the starlet’s strong football education suggests that he could perform well elsewhere, at a club who can offer him regular opportunities in the senior game.
Meanwhile, Amorim must ensure that his side perform well in their vital clash with Manchester City on Sunday, 14 September, before hosting Chelsea six days later.
The former Sporting boss still has a major point to prove after Man United were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two side Grimsby Town last month.
