Man United fans agree with Jamie Carragher after shock Marcus Rashford claim
Man United fans are calling for the club to let Marcus Rashford leave after what Jamie Carragher said after the 3-0 defeat to Liverpool.
Arne Slot’s side cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win at Old Trafford, with the United academy graduate having very little influence on the game.
After missing out on the England squad for Euro 2024, scrutiny of Rashford’s performances has escalated amid questions about his consistency.
The 26-year-old has yet to record a single goal or assist so far this campaign as United have lost two of their opening three league games, leading to fans’ growing frustration.
The former Liverpool man hit out at Rashford during a debate with Gary Neville about his recent performances, as he hinted United should look to improve on the winger.
Speaking live on Sky Sports Main Event, Carragher shared: “I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, if Marcus Rashford is Manchester United’s best attacking player, they’re not winning a league or a European Cup.”

The winger’s contract is not set to expire until 2028 after committing to a new long-term deal in 2023, but fans are now insisting this could be his last season at Old Trafford.
Taking to social media following Carragher’s comments, many United supporters insisted he was spot on, and gave their own views on Rashford’s situation.
