Man United fans all say the same thing after Andre Onana’s Trabzonspor display
Man United fans reacted in unison to react to Andre Onana’s debut whilst on loan at Trabzonspor.
Man United have endured a poor start to the Premier League season, with just one win and their latest loss came against bitter rivals Man City.
However, Ruben Amorim is not under sack pressure despite the Portuguese manager having just eight wins in the 31 fixtures he has been in charge.
Amorim oversaw major changes during the summer window, sanctioning a number of exits. Among them was Onana, who joined Trabzonspor on loan.
Man United fans had called for Onana to leave following numerous poor displays and errors leading to goals, but the goalkeeper has impressed on his debut in Turkey.

Andre Onana wins Man of the Match despite Trabzonspor defeat
Onana made his debut against Fenerbahce in the SuperLig, and while Trabzonspor narrowly lost 1-0, he was awarded the man of the match for his goalkeeping display.
The Cameroonian made eight saves during the game, whilst also making two successful high claims and had 1.63 expected goals prevented, earning a 8.7 rating on FotMob.
The Red Devils let the goalkeeper leave on loan following Man United’s signing of Senne Lammens on deadline day, but Onana has already shown signs he can rebuild his confidence.
While Trabzonspor lost their first game of the season to Jose Mourinho’s side, they still sit third in the league, and their new goalkeeper impressed on his debut.

Man United convinced club are “cursed” after Andre Onana display
Onana had fallen out of favour with Amorim after a run of poor performances, with just one start this season coming in Man United’s exit from the Carabao Cup against Grimsby.
Football Insider revealed Man United are aiming to sell Onana on a permanent deal next summer, with the club hopeful that a strong loan spell in Turkey can rebuild his value.
He is not the only player to have a notable debut as Rasmus Hojlund scored on his first Napoli start over the weekend.
Now, United fans have reacted all but unanimously to Onana’s display, with one reacting on X saying: “If he somehow picks up then maybe we’re really cursed” and another adding: “As soon as players leave Manchester United, they figure out how to play good again”.
