Man United fans all say the same thing amid Benjamin Sesko announcement
Manchester United supporters have called upon Ruben Amorim to name Benjamin Sesko in his next starting lineup after the striker was selected for Slovenia against Sweden on Friday.
Sesko had to settle for a place on the bench when Man United defeated Burnley 3-2 on Saturday, 30 August.
However, the Red Devils’ summer signing was called upon by his nation for their World Cup qualifier on 5 September.
Former Southampton and England forward Matt Le Tissier exclusively told Football Insider that Sesko needs to ‘man up’ after taking the 10th penalty in the shootout when Manchester United were beaten by Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup.
The 22-year-old scored 21 goals and produced six assists for his former club, RB Leipzig, last season but he is yet to show his attacking prowess in Man United colours.
Meanwhile, Grimsby Town were fined for fielding an ineligible player against Amorim’s side in the Carabao Cup clash on 27 August.
The Old Trafford club successfully bounced back from their cup exit with a Premier League victory over Burnley, but they will have to produce a more convincing performance when they face local rivals Manchester City in their next top-flight game on 14 September.
Amorim could drop Altay Bayindir from his starting lineup after Manchester United signed goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.
The North West side’s successful swoop for Lammens saw them opt against a deal for Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez.
For now, though, Manchester United supporters appear more concerned by Sesko’s lack of game time at Old Trafford so far.

Manchester United fans want Ruben Amorim to start Benjamin Sesko as striker named in Slovenia lineup
After seeing that Sesko was named in Slovenia’s team against Sweden, one Red Devils fan said: “Should be starting for United too”, while another said: “Probably bang in a few and still get benched by Amorim.”
