Man United fans are saying the same thing about McTominay after latest – ‘The worst player I’ve seen…’

Man United fans turned on midfielder Scott McTominay after his performance in the 2-0 defeat to West Ham on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils suffered an eighth defeat of the season against the Hammers after goals from Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus.

United have now sunk down to eighth in the Premier League table, while West Ham have climbed above the Manchester giants and into sixth.

Following Saturday’s result, United have now failed to score in four successive games across all competitions, with their last goal coming in their 2-1 win over Chelsea on December 6th.

McTominay remains United’s highest scorer in the Premier League with six goals so far in 2023/24, but the United fanbase is running out of patience with the Scotland international.

The 27-year-old started alongside fellow academy graduate Kobbie Mainoo at the London Stadium but was unable to impact the match from his midfield role.

Despite his underwhelming performance, manager Erik ten Hag decided to keep McTominay on for the full 90 minutes.

United fans on social media were left frustrated at McTominay’s performance, with some suggesting he has put Ten Hag on the verge of being sacked.

United are set to resume their Premier League campaign on Boxing Day when they face Aston Villa at Old Trafford, while the Hammers are set to visit Arsenal in a London derby on Thursday (28 December).
