Man United fans on social media believe Gary Neville knows that Erik ten Hag will be sacked as Man United manager this summer.

The former Red Devil and Sky Sports pundit appeared on Monday Night Football (26 February) to discuss Ten Hag’s future under the club’s new ownership.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said: “I suspect that Ratcliffe and Dave Brailsford already know whether they’re going to keep Ten Hag next season. I can’t believe they’re going to wait until May to make that decision.”

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS team have taken sporting control at Old Trafford after completing a £1.3million minority investment deal in December.

As revealed by Football Insider, Ratcliffe and Dan Ashworth do not view Ten Hag as a long-term United manager.

United currently sit sixth in the Premier League after their 2-1 loss to Fulham and are eight points adrift from the top four.

The Red Devils also finished bottom of their Champions League group under the Dutchman this season.

Ten Hag boasts a 60 percent win rate as Man United manager since joining from Ajax and also lifted the League Cup in his first full season in charge.

His United side return to action on Wednesday evening (28 February) to face Nottingham Forest in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
