Man United fans are wowed by Harry Maguire after Sky Sports reveal
Man United fans have called for Harry Maguire to be renamed the club captain after his latest interview revealed the transition between Ruben Amorim and Erik ten Hag.
The 31-year-old fell out of favour with the former United boss as he struggled to find a place in the team and was ultimately stripped as captain.
Bruno Fernandes replaced him in that role, and that has continued since Amorim took charge of the team.
Maguire told Sky Sports: “He’s really demanding, the thing is with the managers and the style they’re not like they’ve come in and they’re a similar style, they’re not the total opposites in terms of what they want and what they demand.
“I am sure things will turn around and he knows exactly what he needs to do to get this club back.”
Maguire has worked his way back into the United team under Amorim, having featured in every Premier League game he’s been fit for.

United supporters have claimed that the centre-back deserves “major credit” for his work on and off the pitch, while there has been a call for the club to give him “back the armband.”
