Man United fans believe Viktor Gyokeres is signing after Sky Sports reveal

Man United supporters believe that the club will end up signing Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres after Dimitar Berbatov’s comments on Sky Sports.

The former United striker said, “He’s scoring goals for fun, so I think there’s a special connection with the coach, so maybe we’re probably going to see him in a United shirt.”

Berbatov admitted he wants to see an improvement in this position due to the lack of goals scored by United’s current options.

The Premier League giants signed Joshua Zirkzee during the summer transfer window for £36.5million to provide depth and competition to Rasmus Hojlund.

However, they have only managed three goals in all competitions this season between them.

United are the third-lowest scoring team in the Premier League this season, with only Southampton and Crystal Palace scoring fewer than them.

Man United fans are keen to see Viktor Gyokeres join the club

Gyokeres currently plays with new United manager Ruben Amorim in Portugal, and their connection has led to supporters believing that they could reunite at Old Trafford.

Football Insider revealed that Gyokeres could be tempted by a move to the 20-time champions, even if they fail to secure Champions League football this season.

The 26-year-old has scored 20 goals in 16 matches in all competitions during this campaign, and United fans think there’s a “potential transfer on the horizon.”
