Man United fans bid farewell to Rasmus Hojlund after Fabrizio Romano’s update
Man United fans were all but unanimous in their reaction to an update regarding the future of Rasmus Hojlund.
Man United are stumbling towards the end of a woeful season, sitting 16th in the Premier League and reeling from a Europa League final defeat.
Hojlund once again struggled to make an impact, putting in a poor performance against Tottenham as he failed to break through their organised defence.
Now, former United chief scout Mick Brown has revealed that Man United are planning to sell Hojlund this summer in an effort to raise much-needed funds.
The club will reportedly aim to recoup a significant portion of the £72 million they paid Atalanta for his services just two seasons ago — and a fresh update has pointed to some potential destinations for the striker.

Rasmus Hojlund could return to Serie A amid Juventus and Inter Milan interest
Fabrizio Romano revealed on 22 May that Hojlund is “attracting interest from Italy”, with Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli among the clubs showing interest.
He also added that both Juventus and Napoli made “calls” in March, though the decision now rests with United.
Man United supporters have grown increasingly frustrated with Hojlund’s performances this season, with many calling out manager Ruben Amorim for continuing to start him despite his struggles.
The Danish striker has scored just four goals in the Premier League, with only one in his last seven appearances. Nevertheless, he’s made 51 appearances in all competitions and played over 3,200 minutes this campaign.

Man United fans bid farewell as Rasmus Hojlund edges towards exit
Following the defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final, Man United will miss out on European football for the first time since 2015.
The financial implications of that result, coupled with Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), mean player sales are expected this summer.
The club are already exploring striker options, with Man United closing in on a move for Matheus Cunha and showing strong interest in Liam Delap — moves that could hinge on Hojlund’s departure.
After news broke of renewed interest from several top Italian sides despite his underwhelming form, fans didn’t hold back on social media. One wrote, “He should be sold immediately” while another added, “Sell him for any amount.”
