Man United fans: Leny Yoro ‘will miss the final’ after ‘horrible’ injury blow

Man United fans are insisting Leny Yoro will be ruled out of the Europa League final after he limped off with an injury during the clash with West Ham.

Ruben Amorim’s side fell to a 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford after Tomas Soucek’s first-half goal sent the visitors into half-time with a 1-0 lead.

The second half saw Jarrod Bowen ultimately put the nail in United’s coffin despite the hosts creating plenty of chances to make the game competitive.

However, the focus of the majority of the home crowd was fixed on Yoro after the centre-back was taken off with an apparent hamstring injury in the 52nd minute.

The centre-back looked gutted as he walked straight down the tunnel, leading to suggestions that he will not be back in time for the final.

This comes just one week after United fans raged at Amorim after Matthijs De Ligt suffered an injury during the 4-3 defeat against Brentford.

Ruben Amorim facing pressure at Man United

Amid concerns about Yoro’s injury, many fans were left fuming at the manager for risking a key player just a week and a half before the Europa League final.

Amorim will face intense scrutiny should his side fail to lift the Europa League, after dropping below West Ham into 16th in the Premier League table.

Their upcoming opponents, Tottenham, have endured a similarly dismal domestic season and are widely expected to sack Ange Postecoglou if they lose in the final.

However, Football Insider revealed Man United are unlikely to sack Amorim despite that pressure, and instead plan to back him in the transfer window.

Leny Yoro suffers ‘horrible’ injury in new blow at Old Trafford

Yoro has previously struggled with injuries this season, having missed 26 games across all competitions, and his latest blow looks to be another serious one.

Both the defender and Amorim looked gutted upon his withdrawal from play, leading to further speculation about the extend of his latest blow.

Taking to social media, Man United fans have expressed their anger towards Amorim while fearing the worst after a “horrible” injury.
