Man United fans rage at Sky Sports pundit after what he said live on air

Man United fans are furious with former Rangers striker turned Pundit Kris Boyd after his latest Sky Sports rant about the club.

Boyd, 41, infuriated United fans after he called the club ‘irrelevant’ on Sky Sports News following their dismal start to the season under Erik ten Hag.

The former Scotland international has once again spoken about the state of the club, and questions why they are persisting with the incumbent Dutchmen at the helm.

Speaking on Sky Sports News, he said, “Are Manchester United waiting on something to happen? For someone to say ‘Right OK, I’ve had my rest period now’, are they still employed by another club because this can’t continue.

“I don’t care what anybody says, there are people that will say there is progression, there’s not progression, there’s not of it, I can’t see it.

“The fact that Man United have scored five goals this season tells me all I need to know.

“A team that was brought up on success, the team that I watched in the 90s were scoring goals, winning games of football, this is a pale shadow of that.

“You feel sorry for the fans, in the 90s they were the elite club in terms of off the pitch and on it, right now it just seems to be all over the place.

“It’s going to get to the stage where it’s going to look bad on them because they can’t make a decision because anybody can see that this is heading in the wrong direction for Manchester United.

“Erik ten Hag is not going to come out and say ‘Yeah, we’re really struggling’ you only need to look at the team selections, you need to look at the performances and the results and they are a million miles away from where Manchester United need to be.”

Man United fans don’t care what Kris Boyd has to say

With the club sitting in 14th after their first seven Premier League games, Ten Hag is holding onto his job by the skin of his teeth.

Still, whether they agreed with him or not, Man United fans weren’t interested in what Boyd had to say, taking to X, formally known as Twitter, to let him know how they felt.

In other news, Erik ten Hag ignored Man United star for two weeks after he joined.
