Man United fans say the same thing about Diogo Dalot as ‘shock’ footage emerges

Man United fans have trolled Diogo Dalot for his crossing ability after footage of the squad emerged on social media.

The 25-year-old is one of the most consistent players at Ruben Amorim‘s disposal, having featured in 24 of the Red Devils’ 25 Premier League matches last season.

With just one assist to his name, however, supporters have come to expect more from the attacking full-back in the final third, especially with Aaron Wan-Bissaka now thriving at West Ham.

Dalot notched two goals and three assists during the last league campaign, but with United struggling in front of goal this season, it is not a surprise to see his performance levels drop too.

For more threat in the final third, Patrick Dorgu has arrived at Old Trafford, though with just two appearances to his name so far, he has not had the chance to impress quite yet.

Diogo Dalot trolled during night out with Man United teammates

Dalot was one of the players spotted in Manchester city centre with the squad on Thursday 20 February, enjoying a night out with his teammates, being joined by the likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho.

With the Red Devils under so much scrutiny this season, and Amorim possibly already glancing at the Man United exit doors, supporters often forget that the players are just people too.

This has not stopped many from jumping on social media to troll the underperforming left-back, whose last goal contribution came against Southampton in September 2024.

Ruben Amorim needs time to mould Man United squad

United’s overall goalscoring record has dropped significantly, with only Everton, Ipswich Town, Leicester City and Southampton hitting the back of the net on fewer occasions this term.

Amad, who has been sidelined with a season-ending injury at Man United, is the team’s top goalscorer, so the full blame cannot be on Dalot’s shoulders, but the lack of quality crosses is not helping.

One supporter dubbed the moment as one of the “most successful crosses” of the season, while another was shocked that the defender knew to look up before moving.
