Man United fans stunned by what they saw Ayden Heaven do v Arsenal
Man United fans were left stunned by the performance of Ayden Heaven after he made his Premier League debut for the club v Arsenal.
Ruben Amorim’s side were unlucky to come away with a point after a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, after Bruno Fernandes’ free-kick sent them into half-time with a 1-0 lead.
The second half saw United denied by some incredible goalkeeping by David Raya, first from Noussair Mazraoui and Zirkzee before Fernandes had had his late strike saved.
Heaven was introduced in place of Leny Yoro at half-time, and was able to immediately stamp his mark on the team as a Man United player.
The 18-year-old arrived at Old Trafford from Arsenal during the January transfer window with a view to becoming part of Ruben Amorim’s first-team setup.
Now, after a stellar performance against his former club, United fans are insisting he should be thrust into the starting XI in place of Victor Lindelof or Yoro.

Arsenal asking serious questions about Ayden Heaven exit
Former United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 3 March that Arsenal are asking “serious questions” about Heaven’s exit behind the scenes.
Heaven, alongside Chido Obi-Martin, swapped the Emirates for Old Trafford in the January transfer window, raising questions about the Gunners’ academy setup.
Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly have been heavily involved at the Emirates this season, but the departures reflect an ongoing trend at their Hale End academy.
Given Arsenal’s ongoing injury crisis, 17-year-old Obi-Martin’s absence has been especially felt as many believe he would have been given his chance under Mikel Arteta.
However, following an impressive Premier League debut against his former club, Heaven’s exit is likely to be questioned once more at the Emirates.
Man United fans wowed by ‘superstar’ Ayden Heaven v Arsenal
Arsenal’s loss is United’s gain in this case considering Heaven’s immediate contribution to the first-team, having made his senior debut against Fulham earlier this month.
Despite his age, he looked confident and composed at the back, and was as confident in possession as he was winning headers and competing with the likes of Gabriel Martinelli.
Taking to social media in the aftermath of the 1-1 draw, United fans have heaped praise on the 18-year-old as they labelled him “unbelievable” and “a future superstar”.
