Man United fans suggest sensational Ten Hag U-turn after ‘off-the-record’ chat
Man United fans think Erik ten Hag could make a sensational U-turn by remaining at the club after what he said in an “off-the-record” chat after the FA Cup final.
The Athletic journalist Andy Mitten explained that he had a chat with the boss after the game in which he expressed a desire to stay after a United fan poll revealed 84 per cent were in favour of him remaining.
This comes after Football Insider revealed that Ten Hag would be sacked regardless of the outcome of the final.
However, after a 2-1 win against rivals Man City saw them lift the trophy, there have been calls for the boss to cling on to his position.
United finished 8th in the Premier League and came bottom of their Champions League group, in what was a disappointing season before the FA Cup victory which also secured them Europa League football.

The FA Cup success now means Ten Hag has won two trophies in his first two years at Old Trafford after lifting the Carabao Cup last season.
Some fans even suggested they could turn against new part-owners INEOS if the boss loses his job as backing for Ten Hag’s position continues to rise.
In other news, Jim Ratcliffe is being slaughtered for a decision made already at United.
