Man United fans ‘super excited’ as new Leny Yoro footage emerges

Man United fans are relishing the return to action of Leny Yoro after the centre-back featured in Ruben Amorim’s first training session in charge.

The 19-year-old made the move to Old Trafford back in the summer transfer, joining from Lille for £58.8million (Daily Telegraph).

However, shortly after his arrival the Frenchman suffered a broken foot in a pre-season friendly against Arsenal.

As a result he is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Red Devils. That has contributed to his side struggling for central defensive depth at times this season.

Now though, it seems as though Yoro may be getting closer to making his debut for Man United, after his recent return to first-team training.

On Monday 18 November the club released footage of Amorim’s first session since taking over as head coach as he looks to put his mark on the squad.

The defender was one of those whose involvement was highlighted, seemingly working as the right centre-back in a defensive trio.

In the wake of Yoro’s appearance in training, it appears he is not far away from making his first official appearance for his new club.

Not surprisingly, that has been welcomed by supporters, with one claiming they are now “super excited”, and another tipping the teenager to “dominate” once he returns to action.
