Man United fans taken aback by ‘mad’ Marcus Rashford dressing room reveal

Man United fans took to social media to voice their frustrations as dressing room discontent over Marcus Rashford’s treatment intensifies.

United’s former chief scout Mick Brown revealed to Football Insider (October 10) that the club’s first-XI stars are unhappy with Erik ten Hag’s recent treatment of the 26-year-old.

Rashford was surprisingly substituted at half-time in their 3-3 Europa League draw with Porto on October 3rd after bagging the opener and providing an assist for Rasmus Hojlund’s first goal of the season.

After the game, Ten Hag revealed that “rotation” was the reason behind his unusual decision, opting to replace the England international with Alejandro Garnacho with the upcoming Aston Villa game on the following Sunday in mind.

The winger was then substituted again in their 0-0 draw with Villa, this time replaced by Anthony, voicing his annoyance before seemingly saying that Ten Hag “has gone mad”.

The left-winger has scored four goals in eleven appearances across all competitions for the 20-time Premier League champions so far this season, making him their joint-top goalscorer with Garnacho.

Once the international break is over, Ten Hag’s side face Brentford, the side that handed the Dutchman a hefty 4-0 defeat in his second game in charge at the club.
