The 19-year-old broke out in the United side last season and quickly became a mainstay while also earning a place in the England side in what was a tremendous individual season for him.
Mainoo has been unavailable since matchday six due to a muscle injury that he sustained against Aston Villa, but the fact he was back training on the grass is a positive sign that he could be available to Amorim sooner rather than later.
Supporters were excited about the impact that Amorim could end up having on Mainoo’s career moving forward as fans believed the clip was “promising.”
Amorim will be looking to hit the ground running at United when he takes charge of his first game on Sunday (24 November) against Ipswich Town.
