Man United fans want club to sell player who had just 23 touches vs Tottenham
Man United supporters have all said the same thing about Rasmus Hojlund’s long-term future after his performance against Tottenham on Sunday (16 February).
The 20-time champions suffered their 12th defeat of the season against Spurs, as James Maddison’s first-half goal was enough to separate the two teams.
The result saw United slump to 15th in the Premier League table after this weekend, with Ruben Amorim’s side currently just 12 points above the relegation zone.
United had plenty of opportunities to score against the returning Guglielmo Vicario on Sunday, but they were only on target with six out of their 16 attempts.
It is a problem that has plagued the team all season, with United only scoring 28 goals throughout the entire Premier League campaign so far.
Only four teams in the division have scored fewer goals than the Premier League giants, with three of those currently in the relegation zone.
Rasmus Hojlund had dreadful stats against Tottenham
Hojlund led the line for Amorim’s men throughout the entirety of the match but failed to find the back of the net with any of his three shots.
He 22-year-old only managed to make 23 touches throughout the course of 90 minutes, with just five taking place in the Spurs box.
The Denmark international was caught offside twice and was dispossessed twice while only managing to win one of his six aerial duels and none of his ground duels.

Man United fans want Hojlund to be sold
Hojlund has struggled all season up front for United, managing to score only two goals and provide a single assist in 20 Premier League appearances.
His underwhelming performances have now frustrated United fans to the point where they believe they have to “get rid” of the young striker, while others claimed that “Rashford is more likely to score.”
