Man United fans want ‘horrific’ Casemiro sold after what he did against Everton today
Man United fans on social media want Casemiro to be sold this summer after a “dreadful” display in the 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday afternoon (9 March).
The Red Devils took all three points from their clash with the Toffees but Erik ten Hag’s side looked unconvincing at Old Trafford once again.
Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford both scored from the penalty spot after Alejandro Garnacho was fouled in the box twice in the first half.
However, the penalty goals patched over another underwhelming performance which saw Sean Dyche’s side miss countless opportunities.
Man United fans rip into ‘pathetic’ Casemiro display vs Everton
Casemiro started the game poorly with several misplaced passes and the 32-year-old was fortunate that Everton weren’t able to capitalise on any of his mistakes.
The Brazil international was signed for £60million by United in 2022 but he has already been linked with a move away from Manchester with interest from the Saudi Pro League.
United fans on social media were not impressed by his performance at Old Trafford, with some supporters calling him a “fraud”.
United can now turn their attention towards their FA Cup quarter-final clash against arch-rivals Liverpool next Sunday (17 March).
Ten Hag’s side then continue their pursuit of Champions League football next season with a trip to Brentford in the Premier League.
