Man United fans want Mason Mount’s contract terminated after confirmed news
Man United fans have taken to social media to voice their frustrations after Mason Mount returned to first-team training.
The 25-year-old’s Man United career has been plagued by injuries since making the move from boyhood club back in July 2023.
Mount has only managed to play 971 minutes across all competitions for the 20-time Premier League champions, scoring just once and providing one assist.
The attacking midfielder picked up a head injury in their heavy 3-0 defeat to Tottenham earlier in the season and has been out since.
United have now released a statement confirming Mount has returned to first-team training and could be set to return for their Europa League game against PAOK on Thursday (November 7).

With Erik ten Hag no longer at the club, Mount will have to prove his worth once again as he hopes to put his past issues behind him and earn a starting place under new manager Ruben Amorim.
Some United fans are unconvinced, however, and are starting to believe the club would be better off without the England international.
