Man United news: Pundit issues ‘biggest surprise’ claim about Harry Maguire after he’s ‘mugged off’
Harry Maguire’s lack of passion and fight shows exactly what is wrong for Man United at the moment, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa forward and England international claimed Maguire should have shown more fight in the second half of their 4-1 defeat to Man City on Sunday (6 March) and “kick” one of his opponents.
The United captain told club media after the game the biggest lesson his side needed to learn was keeping hold of the ball.

During the last 15 minutes of the game Ralf Rangnick’s side saw just eight per cent of the ball.
“First of all, United are not good enough,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Second of all, they haven’t got a style of play, unlike Man City. You could tell they decided to pack their left-hand side, they had a style of play.
“Man United were getting the mick taken out of them but there was no fight, nobody decided to boot somebody. You don’t promote violence but when you are losing like they were and a team are playing keep-ball, you’ve got to go and boot someone.
“That was the biggest surprise, there was nobody on that. There was no passion.
“Once the third goal went in, nobody showed for the ball, nobody wanted the ball. It’s very worrying times for Man United.

“Someone like Harry Maguire should have taken a yellow card and kicked someone off the ball.
“If you’re going to get embarrassed and mugged off like they did if that’s me, I’m going to make a statement and take someone out because it was a complete mug off.”
