Man United star Casemiro sends two-word dig to Erik Ten Hag

Man United veteran Casemiro appears to be loving life under Ruben Amorim already as he seemingly aimed a subtle dig toward former boss Erik ten Hag with a new social media post.

Amorim has officially taken charge of the 20-time champions this week and has been leading training at Carrington as he gets to know his new squad.

His training sessions appear to be going well with the squad, as Casemiro took to social media to say the latest session was “top training.”

The Brazil international had struggled at times under Ten Hag, and his performances often received criticism from fans and pundits within the game.

However, the defensive midfielder has been an important figure in the United team this season and has played in all but one of their 11 Premier League fixtures so far.

Football Insider previously revealed that United were planning to sell Casemiro in the January transfer window, but with a new manager he might have a chance to salvage his career at Old Trafford.

Ruben Amorim is impressing more than just Casemiro at Man United

Amorim is making quite the impression this week as clips of his training sessions have been shared, with fans being pleased to see him paying particularly close attention to Kobbie Mainoo.

Marcus Rashford also took to social media to praise Amorim’s training sessions as the new United boss works on getting the best out of his underperforming stars.

Amorim brought many of his own staff with him as part of the move, which also led to Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s spell at the club coming to an end.

Amorim will ultimately be judged on results rather than training sessions, and that journey begins on Sunday (24 November) when they face Ipswich Town.

United have a mountain to climb after their difficult start to the season, with the Premier League giants currently 13th in the table.

In other news, Man United fans thrilled as ‘big’ Kobbie Mainoo footage emerges.
